    Down to Earth (Kinetic Poster)

Original Poster made by Lama Degham (graphic designer)

Kinetic Poster Animation by Aysha Rafeek (Multimedia designer)

This project transformed a static event poster into a motion design piece, sequencing its typographic and visual elements across time and screen space.

Natural elements were given distinct motion behaviors that reflected their character, while formal qualities of the original poster drove decisions around pacing, composition, and animation. Sound was designed in parallel, not as accompaniment, but as an equal component that was scored with harmonic synchronization to create a unified audio-visual experience.

    Natural Motion Study (Rotoscope)

I created a rotoscoped animation from video footage that represented natural movement using digitally created bitmap and vector graphics content.

    Onomatopoeia

For this project, I used music samples that related to the theme of Celebration and analyzed each sound, looking at things like rhythm, tempo, texture, and volume. I also used those qualities to inspire visual motion. Simple shapes and text were animated in a way that matched and reflected what was happening in the sound, creating a short motion piece where the visuals and audio felt connected and worked together.

    Made using Adobe After Effects.

    Motion for PEACE

I deconstructed, reinterpreted, and reconstructed the visual language of an existing poster, engaging critically with its metaphors, typography, imagery, and compositional structure.
